Build a Batting Order

Build the batting order from the players who are available for the game.

Before you begin

Section titled “Before you begin”
  • Make sure game prep has already been initialized.
  • Make sure player availability is up to date.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Open the game prep page.
  2. Go to Batting Order.
  3. Review the Draft batting order list.
  4. Drag players to reorder the lineup.
  5. If you want a quick draft, click Randomize.
  6. When the order looks right, click Finalize.

If the saved order needs review

Section titled “If the saved order needs review”
  1. Open Batting Order.
  2. Review the warning that the saved order needs review.
  3. Update the order so only available players remain in the lineup.
  4. Click Finalize again.

Result

Section titled “Result”

The batting order will be saved for that game.
